Ghanaian Reggae Artist and Radio Show Host, Blakk Rasta has descended on Wontumi media group saying they have no decency and respect for Journalism ethics.
According to the mid morning show host on 3F.M, Wontumi media has a record of spreading terrorist news because they have no regard for professionalism and decency in Journalism. He mentioned that Wontumi media has in stock all the rots in journalism practices in the country because of their lack of decency and journalism ethics.
The media house which belongs to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako has come under critical attack over the spreading of fake news and the practice of misinformation as their morning host, The Oheneba Nana Asiedu was over the weekend arrested by the Ashanti Regional Command of the Ghana Police Service.
In a reaction towards the recent publication of false news and misinformation from the radio station, Blakk Rasta stressed that, it appears the National Media Commission is in bed with the owners of the media house because their records of ethics in the journalism practice has not been good since their operations began. He called on the appropriate authorities to sanction the Wontumi media group to avert any future catastrophe that may be produced from their stations.
