This moves becomes first of its kind the history of Ghanaian Female Football. The locker room bonus will see players receive GH¢400 for each win. The bonus will also extend to three members of the Technical Team in the Matchday squad.

The betPawa Locker Room Bonus was first introduced two seasons ago, initially benefiting only Premier League players. Now, it includes Women’s FA Cup players, while also continuing for Ghana Premier League players and officials.

The success of the Locker Room Bonus in Ghana has inspired similar initiatives in betPawa-affiliated leagues in Rwanda and Uganda, with plans for more African countries. The betting company hopes other leagues and corporations will adopt this system to support players

Last season, betPawa invested GH¢1.23 million in these bonuses for 17 of the 18 Premier League teams, with Asante Kotoko SC being the only team not participating.
