A woman has been captured in a viral video jubilating and singing praises after she received a chicken and a bag of rice.
The information gathered suggests the old woman received the chicken and a bag of rice from Mr. Ernest Adomako, the Okaikoi South parliamentary aspirant for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In the viral video shared by SIKAOFFICIAL, the elderly woman was captured very excited as she sang and danced with her chicken in her hand and a bag of rice on her head.
The Coalition of Domestic Election Observers (CODEO) has been urging law enforcement agencies to enforce laws that ban the trend of vote-buying by politicians and voters in Ghana during election periods.
The electoral observer aired concern over reported occurrences of vote-buying in some parts of the country.
Meanwhile, Ghanaians go to the polls in 7 days to decide their next president and their members of parliament for the next four years.
