A Member of the NPP’s campaign team, Anthony Abayifaa karbo says, this election, the NPP and the Bawumia campaign team will not rely on prophecies because they see it as predictions.
Ghana’s election is majorly characterized by prophecies each election year by men of God mostly on the eves of the election year. This year, it appears the NPP’s opponent, John Mahama has found favour in the eyes of the Prophets or maybe in the eyes of God, so all prophecies have gone into his side declaring him as the winner devoid of every plot to rig.
In an interview with Citi F.M, Mr. Karbo said the Bawumia campaign team only recognizes the numerous prophecies for Mahama as mere predictions just as scientific surveys. He said they are as the campaign team are highly focused on the strategies and communication tactics to engage the electorates rather than prophecies.
He also shared his worry how in Africa Prophecies have become so important during elections when the decision is done based on captured ideologies and strategies on the ground. According to him, No one talks about prophecies in Germany, London and America when it is time for elections.
“I don’t understand why prophecies are prevalent in Africa. I don’t understand it. Nobody talks about prophecies in other jurisdiction like China, America, Germany and London”, he said.
