A recent video has hit the Internet where the running mate of the NPP, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh was captured calling out Mahama’s name while introducing the NPP’s Parliamentary Candidate for Mahama.
The video has received many reactions and commentaries as majority have shared that even the running mate for the NPP does not believe in the flag bearer of his party. Others have also shared that, it might have been strategic as the running mate of Bawumia is known for his controversial comments and speeches when he is campaigning.
In a new development, the video purported to have captured NAPO campaigning for Mahama appears to be doctored allegedly by the NDC to achieve their mischievous agenda. The real video as captured and shared hours later reveals NAPO never mentioned the name of Mahama but rather Bawumia alongside the name of the Parliamentary Candidate.
The only part of the video that remained not doctored was when he got the name of the Parliamentary Candidate wrong. He called out Robert Lomotey instead of Robert Lamptey. The video warns of misinformation and disinformation as the elections near fourteen days.
