Members of the clergy could not help but scream ‘eei’ and burst into laughter when Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama accidentally chanted ‘3y3 Zu’ during a meeting with Ashanti Region based men of God.

Whilst delivering an address to the clergymen, Mahama who was on a full throttle and was reinforcing his dedication to oppose formalizing or legalizing LGBTQI+ in Ghana had a slip-up.

During his remarks, the suddenly chanted ‘3y3 Zu’ which often receives a response of ‘3y3 Za’ from supporters of the NDC during campaign rallies. The entire auditorium burst into laughter as they knew the Presidential Candidate had forgotten he was not addressing party faithful at a campaign event.

John Dramani Mahama fellowshipped with members of the clergy in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region on Monday, November 11, 2024.

This is a follow up to a similar event in Accra some weeks ago where he assured the clergy on his commitment to ensuring the nation’s moral compass is not eroded in any way.
