Elections and politics in Ghana as part of its democracy over the past three decades hav given no boundaries to its discussion as everyone from al walk of life in the country is allowed to defend and broadcast their favorites.
In a more developing situation, a heated political and life argument has ensued between a 65 year old woman and a young man alleging to be around his thirties on who will become and is deserving of Ghana’s Presidency come January 2025. In the video sighted by Yawanews.com, the woman clothed in white is seen telling the young man that, life’s achievement is beyond paying rent and since she has lived to in her sixties, she knows what life really means.
According to her life’s achievement is when generations and kindred after you benefit from past investments and sacrifices, pointing to the Free senior High School policy by the NPP and other Digitalization projects promised by Dr. Bawumia of the NPP. In response, the young man who definitely did not side with woman rebutted saying the Akufo-Addo led government has disappointed the country.
Supporting the woman was another lady clothed in black who seem to have benefitted or benefitting currently from the Free SHS policy. The two women seemed to have had bad experiences under the erstwhile Mahama Administration. The peaceful debate and argument add up to the beauty of Ghana’s democracy and its unlimited location of expression and discussion.
