A boutique in Kronum, a suburb of Kumasi has been raided empty by thieves.
The ingenious thieves managed to tunnel their way through the foundations of the container to gain access to the shop.
Per reports, the thieves made away with thousands of cedis worth of items from the shop, leaving the shop owner bankrupt.
The has been a dramatic spike in the number of crimes in Ghana. Thieves in the country have always found creative ways to rob their victims to the surprise of many.
The Ghana Police Service has on numerous occasions cautioned the public to be watchful and extra vigilant, especially going into the election and Christmas season.
