A video has surfaced on social media alleging to be the expired 50kg bags of rice being fed to Free SHS students.
Hon. Ablakwa, through a parliamentary oversight, uncovered a grand callous, dangerous, murderous, and corrupt scheme that puts the health of Senior High School students in extreme jeopardy.
He revealed that a crony company was allowed to criminally re-package over 15,000 50kg bags of expired and contaminated rice into different 50kg bags without expiry dates under the full protection of NPP political heavyweights.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Education Kwasi Kwarteng has reacted to the member of parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa’s latest exposé on the supply of expired rice to some Senior High Schools in the country.
According to the spokesperson, they express appreciation to Hon. Ablakwa for bringing this matter to our attention, as such feedback is valuable in our ongoing efforts to ensure quality education.
Okudzeto Ablakwa has now also fingered the Ministry of Education as being complicit in the supply of 22,000 expired 50kg of rice to feed Free SHS students.
