An accident at Konongo in the Ashanti Region on Wednesday night (November 6, 2024), has resulted in the death of three (3) people with several others sustaining varying degrees of injury.

The incident occurred when a tanker rammed into cars, with some pedestrians also falling victims.

The accident which occurred in front of the MTN office in Konogo was as a result of failed breaks according to the tanker driver.

From CCTV footage, the tanker collided into some cars, crashing a saloon car and eventually coming to a halt when is run into a pile of iron rods by the roadside.
