Celebrated Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale once described fellow artiste, Sarkodie as his savior.
The old video of Shatta Wale in which he rated Sarkodie’s rapperholic concert as one of the stepping stones which elevated him to stardom popped up after he (Wale) poked fun at Sarkodie, saying the latter dresses like a lawyer.
In the video, Shatta Wale reminisced on getting the chance to perform at rapperholic. “I remember one day we had the chance to perform at rapperholic. So, I called the crew and told them this was our chance you know.”
“We have been performing too much on sapele stages and wawa stages. So we’ve gotten the chance to be on a stage like rapperholic which was Sarkodie’s show we need to make a mark,” he added.
According to Shatta Wale, the rapperholic concert was where the Shatta Wale brand was endorsed.
