This is not the real value on ground- Bridget reacts to BoG’s exchange rates update

Bridget Otoo, has reacted to the bank of Ghana’s Foreign exchange updates saying, the figure posted by the bank is not the real one on ground.

She seem to have followed the updates by the Bank of Ghana for so long and have observed that, whenever they give an update, it does not reflect on the actual market. The dollar which has since been on the run area of the cedi has been constantly used against the performance of the Akufo-Addo government.

Bridget in her reaction on social media shared that the $1 to GHS 16.3 shared by the Bank of Ghana on Monday, November 11, 2024 simply denotes that in reality it is GHS 18.00. According to her, Ghanaians know them for not always putting the reach rate on the media.
