Ghanaian International, Baba Rahman says the Black Stars of Ghana has run out of luck following the team’s poor performance in the ongoing African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Ghana is very close to missing out on the 2025 African Cup of Nations tournament.

The Black Stars are currently third in Group F, having recorded only two points. The team is currently banking on Sudan losing its two remaining games, while they struggle to win theirs.

Sharing his opinion on the current plight of the Black Stars, Baba Rahman said, “I honestly think the guys have been a bit unlucky recently,” he stated.

The player is however optimistic the team will turn around its fortunes as it has some really good players.

“We have some really, really exciting young players in terms of what they can do on the ball and off the ball. We have good prospects too. I still have confidence in them,” he added.

The Black Stars who are currently third in Group F of the AFCON qualifiers has just two points and are focused on securing a victory to boost their qualification chances. The team may however miss out on the 2025 AFCON if Sudan manages to secure a point from their remaining two games.
