Presidential candidate for LPG, Kofi Akpaloo seems to appear enthused about the National Cathedral project by the NPP says it is a good investment which will be continued by him if he wins the election.
Kofi Akpaloo during a Presidential encounter program by GBC explained that, aside the location of the Cathedral which gives it a beautiful edifice and appearance, the Cathedral after it’s completion can become a source of revenue for the country. He shared that, Ghanaians will be using the place to host events and weddings if the Cathedral meets its completion and the tourism aspect of it adds up to the revenue it can rake for the country.
Mr. Akpaloo shared details of the hole that has been widely used by the NDC for propaganda saying they have no knowledge about it hence the noise. He shared that, the hole they are building or have dug at the site has a purpose as a car park.
He also shared that, Ghanaians have been misinformed enough for them to believe the lies than the truth about the National Cathedral. He said he will educate Ghanaians and enlighten them more on the benefits the Cathedral will bring if it is raised to its completion phase. He added that, aside it’s revenue rakings, the Cathedral will also employ lots of people into both administrative, technical and managerial slots, which will cut down unemployment rate.
