Former National Chairman of the NDC, Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo says the 2024 elections is strictly on the tangent of economic hardship and cost of living.

In an exclusive interview on GTV’s Breakfast Show, the former chairman explained that, the current cost of living and hardship has rendered the ordinary Ghanaian handicapped in terms of feeding. He stressed on how families are now resorting to an eating formula just to save themselves from spending the little they have on food.

He mentioned that, even the least expensive food which used to be kenkey and fish can not be afforded on a normal day by the ordinary Ghanaian, creating a clear picture of how mismanaged the country’s economic affairs have been under Bawumia and Akufo-Addo. He revealed that to survive under the current administration, one has to either skip Breakfast to make it up for dinner or skip lunch and just have breakfast and dinner.
