A Ghanaian lady in an NPP T-shirt and apron has stated the Ghanaian economy is normal.
She noted that before people used to receive, 300 cedis, 250 cedis, and 200 cedis as salaries but today Ghanaians are receiving more than 1000 cedis as their salaries.
Speaking in an interview she stated, “The economy itself for me, to my experience, I will say it is not only Ghana, that is going through the hardship they are all talking about, but if true, Ghana is hard a lot of things would have been wrong by this time”.
“But to me, if Ghana is hard, in Ghana people are taking, a salary more than 1000 cedis, but looking at back then, people were taking salaries like 300 cedis, 250 and 200 cedis and it does not even make sense and you will tell me now that the economy is not good when you take salaries more than 1000 cedis, you can’t tell me this”, she added.
