Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has called for peace and urged politicians to focus on their policies rather than engaging in hate-filled rhetoric.
Speaking during a visit by Kofi Akpaloo, the Flagbearer of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), at Manhyia Palace, Otumfuo emphasized the importance of conducting a peaceful electoral process, stating that there is no room for violence.
He encouraged all political parties to be patient and accept the election results, stressing that the stability and peace of the nation must remain a priority.
Otumfuo expressed confidence in the country’s continued peaceful environment, while Kofi Akpaloo, the LPG flagbearer, shared his optimism about winning the upcoming poll and reiterated the need for a peaceful election, also outlining his party’s policies.
