Ghanaian Media personality Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah has stated that Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin has questions to answer about the $1 million he took from a businessman.
According to Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, Speaker Bagbin is corrupt, and he has been saying this for a long time, but he cannot do anything about it because there is something there.
Speaking on his show on Angel TV, Okatakyie alleged, “This week, Speaker Alban Bagbin must come and tell us why he went to take someone over 1 million dollars, you are scared, that time the money was 12 cedis so he took 12 million cedis from someone, me I have said something I have written it down, instead of them to ask the old man, this man has been calling your name you have not said anything about it”.
“Me, I am saying Speaker Alban Bagbin must come and tell us why he went to take someone over 1 million dollars what did he use it for as a speaker that time he took 12 million Ghana cedis, when I started saying the speaker was corrupt it today”, he further emphasized.
Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah further reiterated, “He has not done anything, can’t you see something is going on, we gave him up to November to go and do what is right, but yesterday I spoke to a security expert, what I am saying is the security expert knows about it”.
“Listen to what I am saying well, the security expert knows about it, 12 million cedis were put in two briefcases and it was given to Speaker Alban Bagbin in his house I am the one saying it is not anyone”, he added.
