Media personality Bridget Otoo has once again criticized Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia over his unfulfilled promise to construct a harbor and an airport in Cape Coast, Central Region.
Otoo’s remarks came in response to a post by media personality Roland Walker, who reminded Cape Coast residents of the promise Bawumia made during the 2020 election campaign.
On August 22, 2020, Bawumia assured the people of Cape Coast, stating, “We are building a new harbour in Cape Coast and a new airport in Cape Coast.”
In her response, Bridget Otoo sarcastically retweeted, saying, “Roland, I have good news for you… it’s not a lie,” pointing out the failed promise.
The Vice President had described the construction of the harbor and airport as key projects aimed at boosting tourism and development in the region.
However, the promise has yet to be fulfilled, leaving many residents skeptical.
