Rocky Dawuni grabs ourth grammy nomination

Ghanaian International Reggae Artist, Rocky Dawuni has put Ghana yet on the map again as he grabs his fourth Grammy Awards Nomination.
This feat makes him the most nominated Ghanaian in the history of the Grammys as it is called. His song Rise was nominated in the category of Best Global Music Performance. He faces fierce competitions from aat Ki Rani – Arooj Aftab., A Rock Somewhere – Jacob Collier feat. Anoushka Shankar & Varijashree Venugopal, Bemba Colorá – Sheila E. , Sunlight To My Soul – Angélique Kidjo feat. Soweto Gospel Choir and Kashira – Masa Takumi feat. Ron Korb, Noshir Mody & Dale Edward Chung.

He however is not the only Ghanaian who was nominated in the 2025 Grammy Awards. Ghanaian Music Producer, Guilty beatz also received four nominations as his works with various Artists received nominations.

The Recording Acaemy has announced that the main awards night will take place on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. It will also be broadcasted live on the CBS Television Network and also be streamed online.
