National Communications team member of the NDC, Beatrice Annan has vehemently refuted claims that the NDC flag bearer keeps making mockery of the President and his Vice.
According to her, Mahama does not make mockery of President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia but rather the two leaders have and keep making mockery of themselves instead. She mentioned that if previous videos of Dr. Bawumia and President Akufo-Addo are being replayed on the internet and televisions, it will be clear the kind of leadership the two leaders have been to Ghanaians over the past eight years.
Madam Beatrice Annan recounted how the Vice President who was then the running mate to candidate Akufo-Addo criticised the commissioning and building of the Ridge Hospital and the University of Ghana Medical Centre. She said the Vice President during his desperate entry into power chided former President mahama for the infrastructures claiming the resources available to them by then could have been used to construct a Dubai Medical City.
She emphasized that, with the Vice President leading majority of government’s projects not being able to construct a single Regional hospitals in the sixteen regions is nothing but a mockery of himself. She also added that the greatest mockery that the President and his Vice have made of themselves is the return to IMF to borrow when they firmly stood against borrowing from the international market.
