Leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and cousin of Ghana’s president, Gabby Otchere-Darko has generated a lot of conversations on social media after posting a picture of himself on his official Facebook page.
Gabby Otchere-Darko made a post of himself wearing a turban with the caption, “Feeling Indian… So, I am. As you are what you feel.”
Following his post, netizens swarmed to the comment section of his page on Facebook, leaving heartwarming comments in there, with some giving him Indian names.
The politician has over the years displayed his penchant for fashion, wearing well tailored suits and sophisticated clothing. His decision to wear a turban is simply a sight for sore eyes.
Gabby Otchere-Darko is a respected lawyer and political risk analyst in Africa and has appeared on television and radio, and written several articles in several reputable journals on investment, corporate governance, good governance, and economic development in Africa and related matters.
He is the founder and a member of the governing board of the Danquah Institute, a prominent policy think tank in Ghana, and serves as the Chairman of the Ghana hub of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC).
Gabby Otchere-Darko has been described in some circles as the de facto Prime Minister of Ghana, suspected of making key appointments into the Akufo-Addo led administration.
