A Black Stars fan identified as Sammy from Tema, has demanded the immediate declaration of the team’s coach as a wanted man by the Ghana Police Service.
According to him, the Black Stars coach is no more needed in the country and must be chased out after his abysmal performance at the 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
“I think Otto Addo should be declared wanted. We don’t want that man in the country and we should revoke his visa. We should declare him wanted and revoke his visa immediately. Dampare should get to work, we don’t want him in the country anymore,” he stated.
He indicated that Otto Addo has become a national threat and is disturbing the peace of Ghana.
“If Otto Addo doesn’t get out of the country Ghana will not get the peace that it wants,” he added.
The Black Stars of Ghana put on an abysmal performance in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers to the disapproval of Ghanaians.
The team finished at the bottom of Group F with just three points, having suffered three defeats and three draws, with two of those defeats at home.
The Black Stars’ failure to qualify for AFCON 2025 marks a historic low for Ghanaian football, prompting widespread criticism of the team’s performance and the leadership of the GFA.
Following this abysmal performance, Ghanaians have called for the dismissal of Black Stars coach, Otto Addo and the dissolvement of the Black Stars management committee.
