The NPP member of Parliament for Bibiani Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency in the Western North Region Alfred Obeng-Boateng has allegedly released pictures of individuals he secured positions for in the security services.
The member who is on record for publicly admitting to packing dollars to win his parliamentary primaries has today released pictures of individuals, claiming he is the one who secured their positions in the security services.
In the alleged picture released by the MP, most of the personnel he claimed to have help were recruited into the Ghana Police Service, with some individuals in the Ghana Immigration Service, others in the Prison Service, Fire Service and the Ghana Armed Forces.
According to an X user Theophilus Berchie who shared these claims on X, he questioned how the public and these individuals themselves feel about this blatant politicization of their service.
He further added, “To all political opponents: take note of these individuals. Mark them. They are not mere public servants but foot soldiers of the NPP, handpicked and sponsored as claimed by Alfred Obeng Boateng. How can such individuals be trusted to serve society impartially?”
“This is not just wrong; it is a betrayal of the very principles that should guide our public institutions. It erodes trust, weakens the integrity of the police service, and damages the fabric of our society. Enough is enough!”, he wrote on X.
