The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has boldly stated that no Ghanaian politician is more experienced than he is.
According to John Mahama, there is no position in Ghanaian politics that he has not held before, from an MP, Deputy Minister, to Minister, Vice President to President.
Speaking on a campaign platform ahead of the December polls, he bragged saying, “If you search the whole of Ghana, and you want a politician who has more experience than me you will not get one. If you go into politics, there is no position that I have not held before, from MP to Deputy Minister, to Minister, Vice President to President”.
“And if you look at the situation Ghana is in now, it is a point where men must come out to lift the country, it is an experienced driver that is needed it is not driver-mate that is needed in this time, the ditch that Ghana is in now it is not a mate that can get us out of the ditch, it is an experienced driver who can remove us from the ditch”, he asserted.
John Mahama further went on to call on Ghanaians to vote for the NDC by just looking for the umbrella on the ballot paper on December 7.
