Former President and Flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, has launched an attack on the NPP for copying his youthful policy after making fun of it.
He called out the NPP for advertising a similar youthful policy of the NDC after publicly ridiculing it. He said the action by the NPP clearly details why they have consistently been the most inconsistent with both their governance and their campaign message.
“I wake up every morning to update myself with what is trending and update myself. I was amazed to see an advert of the NPP in which their message was to incentivize the youth to go into poultry production. Meaning they will support the youth to venture into poultry production. This is a policy that is clearly established in the NDC’s manifesto which I have said over time. In most of my explanation I said we will give the youth Nkokɔ nkete nkete, and they made mockery of it only for them to copy”, he said.
John Mahama while addressing a crowd in the Oti Region on November 5, 2024 explained to the people that, the NPP’s message of incentivizing the youth to go into poultry production is a mere theft of the NDC’s Nkokɔ nkete nkete policy. He called on them to observe how inconsistent his opponents have been and vote for change.
