The findings of the new poll by Professor Smart Frimpong has indicated that the National Democratic Congress has the ability of capturing 9 out of the 16 existing regions in the country.
The Polls even though projected a run off with Bawumia leading with 49.1% and Mahama following up with 45.8%, saw nine regions powering the NDC to reach such mileage. The regions that have been captured by the NDC according to the research are Bono East, Greater Accra, Oti, Savanna, Upper East , Upper West, Volta and Western North Regions.
The NPP on the other hand according to the poll results captured Ahafo, Ashanti, Bono, Central, Eastern, North East and Western Region. The 7 out of 16 regions as captured by the poll gave the NPP a 49.1% with Nana Kwame Bediako scoring 2.2% while Alan pulled 1.7% of the votes.
Even though the total poll results projected a run off, the report recommends that party agents and supporters get active and campaign strongly for their prospective candidates to clinch a one touch victory in order to save the country some money from organizing another elections.
The report also shared that in the next few days to December 7 which is less than a fortnight, political parties should rise and guard against reverse invasion by working hard to consolidate all gains made in leading regions while seeking to improve on other regions.
Meanwhile the summary of the polls as published by Professor Smart Frimpong indicates that, it is clear that the election can be won at the first round by only one of the two leading political parties, signaling a no chance for Alan kyerematen.
