The deputy national communications director of the NDC, Malik Basintale has said the running mate for the NPP, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh should be declared a full psychiatric patient in the 2024 elections.
Speaking to a crow of NDC supporters in Yendi, the loud mouthed Basintale mentioned that, history has it that if people from the southern regions were diagnosed with madness, they were all brought to the northern regions to be healed from their madness. He said since NAPO is from the south, he should be asked not to try his “madness” in the north again otherwise he will get healed before he returns to his Ashanti Kingdom.
Malik’s comment came on the back of NAPO’s religious statement that if you are a Muslim and vote against Dr. Bawumia, it becomes a haram unto you. He added that it is wrong for NAPO to come to the Dagbon Kingdom to come and pronounce curses to the overlord because, the Overlord is aware of whatever good tidings the NDC and John Mahama has done for the people of Tamale.
He further pronounced that, the Overlord is aware of the failed promises that the Vice President, Dr. Bawumia made to the people of the North. He therefore emphasized that even the Overlord Yaa-Naa will vote for John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming elections.
