Mustapha Foyo Gbande, the Deputy General Secretary of the NDC ha said, in comparison, the current Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum would have been a better option for the NPP as running mate than NAPO.
The Deputy Scribe for the Umbrella Party, expressed his choice for Dr. Adutwum after watching his recent presentation on what his leadership has led the government to don in the education sector. He said he had always respected Dr. Adutwum and could not hide his admiration for his service and leadership after his presentation, expressing shock as to why Dr. Bawumia chose NAPO over him.
“Yesterday I was watching the Minister of Education speak and I was a bit stunned because I have always respected his pedigree, at least I know there is a better option if he was a running mate than the one we have, NAPO”, he said.
According to him on the scale of qualifications and suitability for the role, he would vouch for the Education Minister because NAPO is a “street talker who does not talk wisdom”. He praised Dr. Adutwum’s articulated nature and described him as well educated, making him the best out of the lots to have become the NPP’s hopeful Vice President.
