The Minority caucus in Parliament has formally petitioned the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) to launch a comprehensive investigation into what it calls a gross misappropriation of resources within the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP) project in Wa West.

This call for accountability centres around alleged actions by the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Wa West, Vida Dioretey, who is accused of transferring project resources including equipment and a substantial

maintenance fund to the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate in the district.
