May God visit them in their homes – Beatrice Annan reacts to expired rice saga

A member of the NDC’S National Communications team, Beatrice Annan has reacted to videos purported to be expired rice being repackaged to feed Senior High School students.

Following a recent expose by the member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa on how the boss of the National Buffer Stock, Henry Nana Boakye’s company, repackages expired rice and distributes to various Senior high schools to be prepared for the students, it has raised lots of food poisoning concerns amidst cracks and loopholes within the Free SHS program.

Reacting to the news, Madam Beatrice Annan shared that she feels scandalized as a mother watching such wicked act being perpetuated by an individual in the name of politics. She mentioned that it feels terrible watching such acts being undertaken by the government and it’s members for feeding children of ordinary Ghanaians with expired rice all in the name of politics and a failed policy.

She prayed that God visits the homes of all those involved in such acts. She added that these are the more reasons Ghanaians need to be aware of the NPP and vote them out since they can jeopardize the health of students just to appear perfect in the face of the public.
