However, it has been made clear that Manchester United has no plans to welcome Pogba back to their Carrington training base under the stewardship of Ruben Amorim.

Now that training at Manchester United grounds seemingly off the cards, Pogba will need to a new training option as he prepares to return to competitive football in March.

For the time being, Pogba will continue an individual fitness programme at his home in Miami, Florida.

The 31-year-old’s professional career has been thrown into doubt in recent times due to a four-year doping ban he received in March of this year.

However, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has since reduced the length of the suspension to 18 months, and as a result Pogba can return to competitive action in March 2025.
