Former President and Flag bearer for the NDC John Mahama had taken a swipe at the President yet again saying his bad governance has caused the black Stars their goal drought.
As the elections get nearer so has the campaign and tantrums amongst political actors and leaders become intense. In a recent move, the attention has been drifted from the Mahama and Bawumia campaign to the Mahama and Akufo-Addo show.
During a campaign in the odododiodio constituency, John Dramani Mahama did not mice words as he described the government of Nana Akufo-Addo as one that will go down in history as the worst. He mentioned that, his bad leadership has caused the National men’s team of the country goal drought in all their competitions leading to their failure to qualify for the 2025 AFCON.
He mentioned that for the past 20 years the Black Stars have represented in all AFCON tournaments but just the recent leadership of Akufo-Addo and Bawumia has brought them goalscoring bad luck as they couldn’t even win past war thorn Sudan. He pleaded with the crowd to have faith in the NDC to return the Black Stars back to their glory days when they win elections.
He further shared that not only has black stars being affected by the poor governance of the Akufo-Addo administration but also health and education have woefully been managed.
