According to him, due to Ose Kyei Mensah’s instrumental involvement in the passing of the bill, the President ordered for his sack as the Leader of the Majority. He shared that, this happened after the President had met with leadership of the house before the state of the nation’s address not to pass the bill but Parliament defying the plea by the President with support from the then Majority leader, passed the bill and that was when he was asked to vacate the seat of the Majority Leader for Afenyo Markin.

He added that, the President has contacted the Chief Justice, Gertrude Torkonoo to use the courts to delay the passage of the anti-gay bill but when that happens generations will remember him as the President who lied to build a national cathedral for God but loved gay people and their practices.
