Flag bearer of the NDC John Dramani mahama has signed the 2024 peace pact to commit to a peaceful elections on December 7 2024.

This action is contrary to the party’s earlier stance not to sign the pact if 6 demands including

the implementation of the emile short committee report on the ayawaso west wuogon by election, justice for the 8 persons killed during the 202 general elections, were not met.

But Speaking at the signing of the 4th Presidential Election Peace Pact in Accra on Thursday, November 28 Former president and 2024 flag bearer of the national democratic congress,

John Dramani Mahama expressed his personal commitment and that of the NDC to a peaceful election that government’s posture does not inspire confidence in electorates.

The former president urged all parties to align their actions with their pledges, emphasizing that genuine efforts are essential to maintaining Ghana’s reputation as a peaceful democratic nation
