The running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) has boldly stated that if you’re a Muslim and you vote for the National Democratic Congress it is a haram.
According to Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh a Muslim living in Dagbon and who votes for the NDC in the 2024 elections, it is a haram.
Napo made this comment during a visit to Yaa Naa Bukali Mahama II, overlord of Dagbon in Yendi yesterday, 6 November 2024.
Napo stated, “If you are a Muslim and you live in Dagbon and you are a Dagbon and you take your thumbprint, and you vote for NDC it is haram”.
“If you are an Imam and you pray and you pray for John Dramani Mahama to become president, instead of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a haram.it is not just me, I can say it but some people cannot say it. NDC only uses Muslims for vote and only uses Northerners for vote”, he reiterated.
