Founder and Leader of the Ghana Union Movement, Reverend Christian Kwabena Andrews has shared that, his administration when elected will reduce the number of Parliamentarians from its 275 numbers to 16.
The man popularly known as Kyiriabosom opined that, when there are regional Ministers, there is exactly no need to have such a number of Parliamentarians. He said the 16 peoples can manage the affairs of the regions individually than the 275 Parliamentarians.
According to him, he currently does not see the effectiveness of the current eighth Parliament. He mentioned that they are only good at emptying the purse of the country rather than serving the needs of the constituents they have been voted to represent.
