An act which received much support from organized labor and other stakeholders saw the halt of the hotel sale to Bryan Acheampong, an NPP Member of Parliament for Mpraeso and owner of Rock City Hotels.

In a new tweet, Mr. Ablakwa has revisited a publication made by the Ghanaian Times citing the court case which Former NPP National Chairman, Freddie Blay and son sued him over the Labadi Beach Hotel sale. In reacting to the story once again, the investigative MP said, He is eternally grateful to his legal team for their dedication and outstanding professionalism towards the court case.
