The Member of Parliament for Dormaa East, Paul Apraku Twum Barima, has strongly refuted claims published by Opera News suggesting he criticized President Akufo-Addo’s leadership.
The MP described the report as baseless and a fabrication aimed at tarnishing his reputation.
He clarified that he has not engaged in any media interviews over the last two months and dismissed the publication as a ploy by detractors.
Twum Barima reaffirmed his commitment to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and his determination to secure an overwhelming victory for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming elections.
Speaking to GIFTs News, Mr. Daniel Asante, the MP’s special aide, praised the leadership of President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia, highlighting achievements such as the Free SHS policy, the National Identification System, and the One District One Factory program.
He emphasized that these initiatives demonstrate the NPP government’s dedication to Ghana’s progress.
Mr. Asante urged Ghanaians to disregard the publication and support Dr. Bawumia’s bid to continue the transformative policies established by the Akufo-Addo administration.
He also encouraged unity among party members to ensure victory in the upcoming elections.
