I feel sad when I hear some citizens say they won’t vote – Former President Kufuor

The former president of Ghana John Agyekum Kufuor has said he feels sad when he hears citizens say they won’t vote.

According to John Agyekum Kufuor, Ghanaians are facing hardship and must decide who they want to lead them for the next four years, he stated he is an NPP man, and he was going to vote for Dr. Bawumia in the December polls and that Ghanaians should vote for some they think will help them.

The former President Kufuor speaking to Ghanaians yesterday November 17, 2024, is quoted by GHONE TV to have said,” I feel sad when I hear some citizens say they won’t vote”.

John Agyekum Kufuor also revealed Dr. Bawumia had not lobbied him to endorse him, but he is supporting him because he is Knowledgeable. He added, “He has not come to lobby me, he didn’t come to lobby me, my government there was knowledgeable, but I will not mention names”.

“I have said it, and some people didn’t understand it, I have looked at a lot of things, and I have seen that child, Ghana, if you look at how the world is going, if Ghana is put in his hand with God blessing, he will help Ghana to rise hurriedly”, he added.

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor served as the President of Ghana from 7 January 2001 to 7 January 2009, his victory over John Evans Atta Mills after the end of Jerry Rawlings’ second term marked the first peaceful democratic transition of power in Ghana since independence in 1957.
