The member of parliament for North Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has revealed he could have made a lot of money from the alert he received from the 22,000 expired bags of rice.
According to Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, if he were to be a corrupt politician he could have made a lot of money when the alerts got to him, but he has decided not to be compromised.
Speaking on the JOY NEWS AM Show, Ablakwa stated, “ So, I understand that when consistently those who violate our laws, who are jeopardizing our health putting all of us at risk they get away, they can even decide I won’t talk and nothing happens to them and then we who is going through”.
“I could be in my constituency campaigning what people have not considered if I was a very corrupt politician you know how much I can make from some of these things, this alerts when they come to me I decide to take this part I am not going to be compromised”, he boldly stated.
The member of parliament added, “Look at all the people in the chain, there are many people in this chain who could have stopped this rice from getting to our schools yet it got to our schools if there was just one person who was willing to stand up to be counted to protect our children damn the consequences we will not be where we are”.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa the Buffet Stock Company is not the private company of Abdul Wahab and Nana Boakye who is the Board Chairman, they are paid by the taxpayer, and they owe Ghanaians the duty of care and must explain to Ghanaians why they colluded with Lamens to do this rebranding.
