Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has praised colleague Shatta Wale for the attention and energy he brought to the Ghanaian musical scene.
In an appearance on Podcast And Chill MacG, Sarkodie heaped praises on Shatta Wale on the global platform.
The conversation which started off with a question on Shatta Wale’s arrest and prison time, was smartly evaded by Sarkodie who ended up giving Shatta Wale credit for his role in making the local music industry what it is now.
“I’ve even lost count cause my brother is crazy, Shatta Wale is crazy. He’ll just wake up and something will happen. So, I’ve lost count what exactly happened but he has done a lot. That’s somebody who brought energy into the (Ghanaian music) industry,” Sarkodie praised his brother.
Sarkodie hinted on Shatta Wale’s unpredictability, saying they can be cool at one moment and the next moment he will be getting heat from Shatta Wale.
“We can be on the phone today and tomorrow he is up on the radio (saying) fvck Sark. Sometimes you don’t understand it but I think for a moment he brought energy and attention to the industry,” he added.
Shatta Wale and Sarkodie have been considered rivals in the Ghanaian music industry. Regardless of their fragile relationship, the two have some great tunes together.
