’God’s direction’ – David Osei explains support for the NPP

Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei claims his decision to support the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was a divine approval from God.

According to the staunch supporter of the NPP, the party’s victory ahead of the December 7, 2024 elections is assured.

He claimed he has never lost a battle committed to the hands of God as he never takes a decision without God being in the center, hence his choice to support the NPP being one of such decisions.

In a post on his official X page, he said, “My name is DAVID, and I have never lost a battle that I committed into the hands of Elohim! The reason is that before I move, I inquire of the Lord. Come 7th December, victory is assured! Vote Number 1, Vote Dr. Bawumia, Vote Progress.”

In the last few years, most people in the creative sector have taken the bold step of publicly declaring support for one political party or the other.

Agya Koo, Mr. Beautiful, Nacee, Kofi Okyere Darko, Samini are all celebrities who have publicly endorsed political parties and their leaders.
