A netizen has reacted to a viral video of President Akufo-Addo receiving cash.
According to Albert Nat Hyde commonly known as Bongo Ideas, Ghana’s presidency is being managed like some School Prefect position which is very shameful.
His full post on X reads, “First president in history handling cash in public. No composure, nothing presidential. Ghana’s presidency is being handled like some School Prefect position. Shameful!”.
In the viral video that has emerged President Akufo-Addo was captured sandwiched between the Greater Accra minister Nii Kwartei Titus Glover and the minister of Roads and Highway Francis Asenso-Boakye at the commission of the Flower Port flyover.
In the eleven-second video shared on X by EDHUB, President Akufo-Addo was captured receiving a large sum of cash visibly 200 cedis notes from an unidentified man in public.
The unidentified man took the money out of his purse and handed it over to President Akufo-Addo who hurriedly placed the money in his pocket.
