Ghanaians don't accept new characters - Safo Newman

Talented Ghanaian Musician, Safo Newman has explained why Ghanaians are finding it difficult to follow his style of music and lifestyle.

In an interview with Andy Dosty, the Akokoa hitmaker expressed that, over the years Ghanaians have proven how hard it takes them to accept new characters in the entertainment industry. Safo Newman whose style of music and lifestyle has been described by many as outstanding and different said Ghanaians are not receptive to new styles and characters.

He explained that his kind of lifestyle would have been easily accepted if he was in the United States or the United Kingdom because they are opened to variety and would have jumped on his groove. He likened his ways to lots of Artist like Carpet man in the states saying it is amazing how he covers every part of his body yet the people and fans love his style and copy him.

He shared that, before venturing into the music scenes, he dared to become different with his style of lyrics, composition and also fashion in order to be easily identified by his fans. Even though Ghanaians are finding it difficult to grapple with what he has, believes it won’t take long for them to understand his stake and love his music.
