GBC fumes of NPP MP for illegally demolishing it bungalows

The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) has accused the Member of Parliament for Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro, Sylvester Tetteh, of illegally demolishing its staff bungalows in Weija.

According to the state broadcaster, the MP, who also serves as the Deputy Information Minister, carried out the demolition despite objections.

In a statement, GBC acknowledged that the Ghana Police Service swiftly intervened to halt the exercise.

“The Management of GBC, with the help of the Ghana Police Service, this afternoon stopped the Deputy Minister of Information and MP for Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro, Sylvester Tetteh, from continuing the illegal demolition of government buildings on GBC land at Weija,” a Facebook post from the broadcaster read.
