Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe, the Director of Legal Affairs for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has stated that for a government to feed Free SHS students with expired rice that is the lowest I have seen.
According to Edudzi Tamakloe, he is very pained, disgusted, and disappointed in the leadership of Akufo-Addo and Bawumia.
Speaking on TV3 NewDay, he stated, “Listen, for a government in a very murderous manner fed our children, our brothers and sisters in the various secondary schools with expired rice it is the lowest I have seen from any government.
Look for Akufo-Addo and Bawumia to feed our children with expired rice repackaged rice from India, they have basically termed it as rice coming from Ghana, 20,000 bags of rice given to our children in the various secondary schools this is a national crisis, a national shame and this morning I called on my brother to join me in condemning this murderous conduct”, he added.
Hon. Ablakwa, through a parliamentary oversight, uncovered a grand callous, dangerous, murderous, and corrupt scheme that puts the health of Senior High School students in extreme jeopardy.
He revealed that a crony company was allowed to criminally re-package over 22,000 50kg bags of expired and contaminated rice into different 50kg bags without expiry dates under the full protection of NPP political heavyweights.
