Ghanaian and Athletic Bilbao Forward, Inaki Williams has the world to court support from the football fraternity for the victims of the heavy flood in Valencia, Spain.

The in-form striker who has netted over three goals after a bad international break spell with the black Stars, in his post-match interview over the weekend mentioned that, even though football is what brings people together, it is still not as important as what is happening to people living in Valencia.

“Football is not as important as what is going on in Valencia. We need to stay strong for them”, he shared.

At least 200 people have been killed in possibly the deadliest flooding to hit Spain in its modern history after torrential rain battered the eastern region of Valencia, sweeping away bridges and buildings, local authorities said it is the worst in the history of Spain, according to reports.

Reports also indicates that, some parts of Barcelona have been hit with floods with around 50 flights to Barcelona have been canceled or significantly delayed, according to Spanish daily El Pais. The government of Catalonia has also suspended all local rail travel in the region.
