Ghanaian songstress, Michy says Shatta Wale played a pivotal role in shaping her to the musician she is today.
Michy who used to date Shatta Wale and share a son with him, has expressed gratitude to the dancehall king for guiding her in songwriting and recording.
“Shatta Wale guided me in learning how to write and record my own music, and I will always recognise him for that whenever possible. I will continue to appreciate him for introducing me to this industry and showcasing what I can achieve with my voice,” she confessed.
Michy whom many say is not on good terms with Shatta Wale added that she will also give him the due respect and recognition for his impact on her music career.
Shatta Wale and Michy were the most adorable power couple in the industry. In 2018, Shatta Wale proposed to Michy at the launch of his Reign Album.
The couple however separated over domestic violence and trust issues in 2019, with Michy blaming Shatta Wale’s insecurity for their split.
Ghanaians were rooting for the duo to come back stronger but that did not happen. Shatta Wale now has a new girlfriend Maali, who has given the artiste a baby girl.
Shatta Wale now is a father of four (4) with children from different women.
