The Managing Director of the State Transport Company, Nana Akomea has called on the Ghana Football Association to hold on to any plans aimed at sacking Otto Addo.
The coach who has come under series of attacks ever since the Black Stars failed to qualify has even mentioned that he is not ready to resign amidst calls by journalists and other sports lovers. In a response Nana Akomea said the Federation should consider the World Cup qualifies ahead and maintain the coach for now.
He mentioned that the performance of the team even though was abysmal, does not warrant for Ghanaians to be in a panic mode. He shared that, continous changing of coach to solve similar problem has not helped the country and will rather result in wasting lots of money. He urged Ghanaians to rally behind the team and coach to see the team through to the qualification process successfully.
Nana Akomea further if eventually Otto Addo fails to lead the Black Stars to the world Cup then the country can agree and come together to support the GFA in sacking the coach.
